We were connected through mutual friends and two years later, I ended up marrying a man (you know him as Nate) who grew up in the same town in West Virginia as Kenan. So basically we were all meant to be friends.

From maternity photos, to sweet Owen’s newborn session, to Spring family photos, Susanne and Ryan have been so easy and fun to capture on the other side of the lens. Even though it’s wedding season, we still love meeting families during the week to capture gems like these. I mean I could gush about how much I love them, but I think it’s pretty evident.
Read MoreA year ago we were introduced to our nephew Linus and this past weekend we celebrated his first birthday. To say he is the best is an understatement. We love that he's just learning how to nod his head yes in slow motion and take two steps in a row. We also love that he lives 15 minutes down the road from us. However, he (along with his parents) will be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina in April so we're making sure we get extra baby kisses in to hold us over in between visits.
