Miranda and Douglas | Boise, Idaho Wedding | First Baptist Church | Boise, Idaho |

Miranda and Douglas' wedding is one for the books! Seriously - not only was every single detail of their day gorgeous, but the godly heritage of both families was woven through every aspect. The rings they wore were passed down from grandparents, the bridesmaid's dresses were made by the mother of the groom, the delicious food, cake, and desserts were all made by family members! There was also a display of the mother's and grandmother's wedding dresses and the officiant of the wedding was the chef!  This wedding was a true celebration of their honest love and commitment - and the record breaking temperature of 110 degrees (no joke) didn't slow anyone down during the first look and outside reception. Miranda wore flowers braided into her hair and made only one request - to climb up the bell tower right after the ceremony to ring the bell. Climbing up flights of stairs in her wedding dress proved to be no problem. I, on the other hand, faced all my height fears, because, anything for a great picture. To help beat the heat, there was a photo booth and Italian Soda bar at the reception which Nate and I took full advantage of :)

Having known Miranda and Douglas for what seems like forever made this overly sentimental gal tear-up more than once. There is no truer honor and privilege we have as photographers than to be friends with the bride and groom and watch the joy of the couples and their families explode. Congrats you two, we love you and Nate and I are cheering you on!
